Client: VICTORY Tutorial Programs, a nonprofit tutoring organization in Austin, Texas that is staffed primarily by volunteers.

Project Summary: VICTORY volunteers often feel ill-prepared to assist students who are struggling with reading. Working with the program lead, I developed a storyboard for an online module to help address this issue.

Solution Journey:

Developed using ADDIE and rapid prototyping frameworks, this module was originally envisioned as a series of scenarios with real-life reflection assignments for the volunteers. During development, the course evolved into a knowledge-building module designed to be used in conjunction with an in-person training for new volunteers.
